After 3 weeks of being a bum, on track for a 25 mile week

Life got busy, the evenings got dark, and I spent a few weeks where getting out of bed/out of my office chair and running before/after work just seemed impossible. Cue 3 measly-mileage weeks and the accompanying blahs.

Finally turned things around this week! I managed to use the leftover adrenaline/positivity from my thesis defense to motivate me out the door all but 1 day this week and even dragged the MountainMan along for 2 runs and threw in a few hill repeats on Tuesday. Whoohoo! Now just need to hang on over Thanksgiving and carry this momentum into winter…

Here’s to endorphins and headlamps and horrendous weather that is secretly my favorite kind to run in 😉
