First run of Fall

Last night, like many other runners, I went on my first run of the Fall season.

I spent a little over 4 miles joyfully striding through glowing aspens and chilly Autumn evening air. Although surrounded by nostalgia-inducing end-of-summer beauty and perfectly crisp running weather, my legs were a little exhausted (more on that in a later post – let’s just say excessive amounts of biking were involved…). Fortunately, this wasn’t enough to force me home early, but instead provided impetus to stop regularly and snap some photographs of the absolutely perfect Fall evening through which I was running.

Enjoy!
